Complex Healthcare Solutions was built from more than 16 years of hands-on experience in healthcare revenue cycle management and operations. We understand that behind every claim, workflow, and outstanding balance is a healthcare organization trying to operate efficiently while continuing to care for its patients.
Our approach goes beyond billing. We work with healthcare providers to identify gaps, strengthen operations, improve revenue cycle performance, and build processes that support long-term growth. From helping providers launch their own practices to improving existing workflows, training teams, and managing accounts receivable, our solutions are tailored to the needs of each organization.
At Complex, the goal is simple: give healthcare providers the operational support and revenue cycle expertise they need so they can focus on their patients while we handle the rest.
MEET THE FOUNDER
Beginnings
My career in healthcare revenue cycle began more than 16 years ago, and over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to grow through multiple areas of the revenue cycle from the day-to-day work of billing and accounts receivable to managing teams, improving operations, developing workflows, and overseeing revenue cycle performance. Working directly within healthcare organizations as well as from the third-party billing side gave me a unique perspective. I learned not only how to get claims paid, but how every part of an organization from registration and documentation to coding, billing, follow-up, technology, and staff workflows—can ultimately affect revenue.
From Doing the Work to Leading It
As my career developed, so did my responsibilities. I moved beyond individual account follow-up into leadership, operations, process improvement, staff development, client management, and revenue cycle strategy. I've worked across different healthcare environments and payer structures, navigating complex AR, denials, workflow breakdowns, system challenges, and operational gaps. I've trained teams, developed SOPs, implemented new processes, supported system transitions, and worked alongside healthcare leadership to solve problems that couldn't always be fixed by simply rebilling a claim. That experience shaped one of the principles behind Complex Healthcare Solutions: sometimes the billing problem isn't actually a billing problem. You have to understand the entire operation to find the root cause.
Building Complex Healthcare Solutions
Complex Healthcare Solutions grew from my desire to bring that experience directly to healthcare providers and organizations. I've helped providers transition from group settings into their own private practices, supported practice setup from the ground up, identified operational gaps within existing organizations, developed workflows and SOPs, trained staff, and helped organizations strengthen their revenue cycle processes.
Complex was created to provide more than outsourced billing. It's a resource for healthcare organizations that need someone who can look at the bigger picture, identify what isn't working, and help build a better way forward.
